My Seattle luthier, Scott A Smith, works on viola da gamba family instruments as well as violin family ones. He removed an evil spirit from an instrument of mine. It turned out it had a defective fingerboard which was twisting its neck, making it uncooperative to play. No one liked playing it. A week or so at Scott’s and a lovely, friendly cello came back to me! Scott, the ghostbuster luthier!!
